Crawl

I'm going to crawl under my bed today
On my belly, inch by the inch

Until my sky is filled with springs and dusty things
And fields that'll never yield the fruits of spring

Don't bother to write or even call
I’m not really here, I’ve moved away, that's all

Under the bed, in the dark and gloom
It'll be a perfect home, with only one perfect room

There’ I’ll be king, perfect father, husband, and son
In my world, population one

I'm going to crawl under my bed today
I'll be there until judgment day

Haikus

Swirling around , clink
The rusty spoon doesn't stop
Acid coffee, yum

--

Upside angel
A devil with a halo
Hope can't be denied

---

Sing and hold my hand
The chill is only a ghost
Listen to hope's song

---

Tingle, fingers numb
My reward for catharsis dreams
They won't stop, tap, tap

---

Cold rain falls again
Like the day the end began
My boat is ready
Like a sea of melancholy - black space
and then light appears and fills the air
it's so alive - ready to taste

The stuff of nightmares or dreams of fantasy
May appear in perfect techno-color
with life-like insanity

It's so easy for an agnostic to believe
With angels blaring trumpets with THX quality
that magic costs only $6.50.
